This Website Privacy Policy explains how Smile Now Dental Studio ("we," "us") collects and uses information through our website, smilenowdentalstudio.com. It covers the website only. Information you choose to give us

• Calls and texts. When you call (626) 752-7888 or text (626) 797-3451 using the buttons on this website, our office receives your phone number and anything you tell us.
• Online appointment requests. The "Book" buttons on this website open an appointment-request page operated by Weave, our scheduling and patient-communication provider. Information you enter there is collected by Weave and sent to our office.
• Information you give our office as a patient is protected as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our website platform and the tools described below may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the website that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, the date and time of your visit, and whether you tapped our Call, Text or Book buttons. These tools record that a button was tapped and the practice phone number or booking link used. They do not receive the content of your calls or messages.

Cookies, analytics and advertising tools

Our website is built and hosted on GoDaddy Website Builder. On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you Accept or Decline cookies.

• Set regardless of your choice (website platform): GoDaddy website, shopping-cart and session cookies; cookies set by Stripe through GoDaddy's commerce features; GoDaddy visitor-statistics cookies; and a cookie that remembers that you answered the banner.
• Analytics, only after you click Accept: Google Analytics cookies used for our own website statistics, and cookies for a separate Google Analytics property that GoDaddy operates for its website-builder services.
• Advertising, only after you click Accept: the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), which lets us measure visits from and the effectiveness of advertising on Meta's services. Meta may also use this information under its own terms and policies.

Even before you make a choice, and after you click Decline, your browser still downloads certain program files from Google, Meta and GoDaddy so the website and the banner can work. Those companies therefore receive basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, when the files are downloaded. GoDaddy's own analytics service also receives a page-view signal that does not use cookies. After Decline, our own Google Analytics property and the Meta Pixel do not receive data from your visit.

Google and Meta may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you visit our website and accept cookies.

Text messages

If you give our office your mobile number, we may send you text messages about your care, such as appointment reminders and scheduling updates. Information collected through our website may be received by the service providers that run it: GoDaddy (website hosting and platform statistics), Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Maps and Google Fonts), Meta (Meta Pixel, only after you accept cookies), Weave (appointment requests and patient communications) and Stripe (loaded by GoDaddy's commerce features). We may also disclose information when required by law.

Accepting cookies on this website does not authorize us to use or disclose your health information. Our use and disclosure of patient health information is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law.

Links to other websites

Our website links to websites we do not operate, such as Weave's appointment-request page, Google Maps and our Instagram and Yelp pages. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Your choices

• Cookie banner. You can Accept or Decline optional cookies when the banner appears. Our website does not currently offer a link to reopen the banner after you make a choice. You can still control cookies through your browser settings.
• Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See your browser's help pages.
• Browser privacy signals. Our website does not currently change how it operates in response to "Do Not Track" signals. We have not configured our website to recognize Global Privacy Control signals.
• Text messages. Reply STOP to any text message from our office to stop receiving texts.
