Zoom Dental Whitening

Let's Begin Your Session

The process is estimated to be up to 48 minutes.  However, we ask you to expect an hour and 30 minutes because steps are required between each application within the whitening process.

Upon your arrival at our studio, you will be guided to your seat by our staff, where you will become relaxed and comfortable in the private VIP room.

The Dentist will ask you a few questions and explain the process. The steps are simple, and you must stay in the position most comfortable during the whitening application. Once the treatment begins, it is recommended that you stay off your phone and not move, as this may halt the process, and potentially decrease the whitening process.

You'll relax and be in a lying position and we'll accommodate your needs with  a neck pillow, blanket and a small remote door bell for communication.

Instructions | 48 Hours Afterward

As soon as your whitening session is complete, you'll notice that your teeth are lighter in color, and that's exciting!  That's what we want!

Now, let's keep this new ligethered smile going by maintaining it.  At this stage, your teeth will be essentially porous for 48 hours ( which happens during the whitening process and is needed to lighten them), and you must avoid the following foods.

To achieve the effectiveness of your new whitened smile, you'll need to follow some instructions for the following two days.

Avoid the following:

  • Colored Soda
  • Coffee
  • Carbonated Drinks
  • Dark Colored Foods
  • Chocolate
  • Pigmented Herbs
  • Tea
  • Sugar
  • Fruit Juices
  • Dark Fruits
  • Dark Condiments
  • Wine Red\White\Pink
  • Avoid Any Acidic Drinks
  • Smoking, Vaping, Recreational
  • Candy

Avoid Soy Sauce, Salsas, Ketchup, Balsamic Vinegar, Curry, Tomato Sauce, Buffalo Sauce, and Italian Marinara Sauce.

Rinse your mouth after drinking any white or clear drinks.

Remember, your teeth will be open to any color of pigment, so avoid the.  It's only 48 hours.  Our teeth are still processing the whitening experience and could become a shade or two lighter during that time.

During the 48 hours, you may feel a zinging sensation or a tingle in your teeth. This is quite normal, as you had the whitening procedure completed. It'll wear off soon after.

If you should have any concerns during the 48 hours, you can always follow up by calling our studio. You can also continue the light colored diet if you'd like. However, you can return to your general diet after the two days.

We look forward to your new experience with you with a white and healthy smile!

Implants

One Week Follow-Up

The dentist will check the implant site to ensure there are no signs of infection, swelling, or shifting. If stitches were placed, they might be removed during this appointment. You can ask any questions about healing, eating, or cleaning.

One Month Follow-Up

The dentist will check how your implant is integrating with your bone.  This is called   osseointegration — a fancy word for “your implant is bonding with your bone.” If everything looks great, your dentist will continue monitoring the healing process without any intervention.

Three to Six Months (Implant Placement)

Once your implant is fully healed, your dentist will attach your permanent dental crown (the visible tooth) to the implant post.  This is the moment your implant starts to feel and function like a natural tooth!

Dentures

Maintenance

Maintenance

Rinse After Meals:

After eating, rinse your dentures under lukewarm water to remove food particles and prevent stains. Avoid using hot water as it can warp the denture material.

Gentle Brushing:

Use a soft-bristle denture brush or a soft toothbrush to clean the surfaces of your dentures. Avoid using regular toothpaste, as it can be too abrasive. Instead, use a denture cleanser or mild, unscented soap.

Clean Your Mouth:

Even without natural teeth, it’s essential to clean your gums, tongue, and the roof of your mouth with a soft toothbrush or damp cloth to maintain good oral hygiene.

Fit Evaluation: The dentist will check whether the dentures have become loose due to natural gum shrinkage (atrophy).

Relining or Rebasing

(If Necessary):

Relining:

The dentist will add a new layer of material to the inner part of your denture to improve its fit without creating a new one.

Rebasing:

This is when the base (pink acrylic part) is replaced without altering the teeth. This is common after a few years of denture use.

Oral Health Examination:

The dentist will check your gums, tongue, and any remaining natural teeth (if applicable) to ensure your overall oral health remains stable.

Cleaning Recommendations: Your dentist may perform a professional denture cleaning to remove built-up tartar or stains.
